Fayre — a Major Player in the Web3 Summit

Fayre — a Major Player in the Web3 Summit

We are delighted to announce our latest partnership with iSportConnect Web3 Summit.

Fayre will be present at the event, bringing all its sweetness and Web3 savvy. We will be introducing the Fayre ecosystem to the biggest players in sport and Web3. Those attending will be able to discover everything they need to know about our NFT products and services.

In addition, our CEO Luis Carranza will be among the speakers at the summit, alongside top esports and gaming executives from FIFA and NASCAR.

Web3 and sports

This two-day event, being held in London in June, is the annual global gathering of the sport, media, entertainment and gaming industry, where attendees can explore and share knowledge and information about this next immersive era of technology.

The event is designed to ensure that the industry can learn about, implement and embrace the opportunities of Web3, and has access to all the most cutting-edge technology to unlock its potential. The overall aim is to create tools and services — including NFTs — which bring the manifold benefits of metaverse connectivity and experiences to users, customers and fans.

The iSportConnect Web3 Summit will take place on 28 and 29 June 2022 at Emirates Stadium in London.

IsportConnect is the world’s largest private sports business network, with more than 24,000 members, where sports organisations can connect, share ideas and inspire each other. It is a global, interconnected network of ambitious people with a shared passion for seeing the sporting ecosphere grow.

Web3 Summit x Fayre

Sandy Case, CEO of Web3 Summit, commented: “We’ve had fun chatting with Luis Carranza (Fayre CEO) and Silvia Mogas (CMO), and love their ability to create NFT experiences that are simple to understand from a fan perspective. This is a key ingredient when it comes to being part of our upcoming Web3 Summit, and educating us all on the use cases and benefits. Fayre also has a very cool logo.”

Silvia Mogas, Head of Marketing at Fayre, said: “We want to help the sports industry to move into the NFT space, as we recognise that any activity in this new ecosphere needs to be carefully explained and thought out, so that rights holders can see the long-term commercial benefits and create improved engagement with their fan bases.”

Fayre and sports

This exciting new relationship follows on organically as part of our programme of sports partnerships, spearheaded by our hugely successful partner activity together with La Liga club RCD Espanyol.

We are taking one of Spain’s most long-established football clubs into the world of Web3, with innovative NFTs that seamlessly connect the digital world and real-life experiences for Espanyol fans. The NFTs will provide fans with exclusive access to certain elements in the stadium, the team and many other benefits to be announced soon.

We also have partnerships with two other sporting organisations, namely the International Professional Pool Association, whose digital content is available through Fayre-produced NFTs, which also enhance fan engagement; and the North American Rugby League, with whom we are developing esports solutions for targeting new fans, as well as other benefits such as in-stadium activations.
